What is the difference between a healthy life and not a healthy lifestyle? More importantly, in business, what is the difference between a healthy and productive society and a company unhealthy and unproductive? There really is not a drastic difference in the action. There is a drastic difference in the results. The difference lies in the objectives. Small steps in the action make a big difference in the results.

We talked about setting goals in the past, but let him further to see how small changes lead to big results. It starts with the difference between the objectives and goals are compatible are not. The following scenario will illustrate, but also show how to use what is common practice in business to create new possibilities.

Sales goals, business requires each sales representative about 20 customers a month. I do not care how they do, between calls, networking meetings, or not, but their goal is twenty customers later this month. If this is to be realistic, we should look at the time they are going to happen and how they will spend it. If you have 30 hours of internal meetings, it will be difficult to devote much time to the external communication that will lead to sales. Therefore, this would not be an environment that supports 20 customers for the sales representative. As the owner / manager, you do not configure it because the conflict would be clear.

health goals are not so clear to see in business. That's where I come! It's easy to say. "Get Healthy" is more difficult to create an environment that will create and support health. A challenge, yes, but impossible? No, start with a simple question:

What I can do to support the health of my employees?

This can lead to more questions, but answers are manifested quickly and clearly. You know your business needs and what each employee must do in order to keep things running. The health of your employees is no different. Everyone has goals and a certain amount of time and energy to devote to them. By creating a realistic sales goal, your sales team can work towards it, and get your company sees the benefit. To do this you need an environment that can support these objectives. If the environment is not compatible with the objectives, business and the world that will suffer.

By creating realistic health goals and an environment that supports its employees will be able to work toward these goals and, of course, his company sees the benefit. Best of all, your sales targets will also improve. (See my article: Health Strategy, the appearance and performance)

How does that happen? Goal setting is a habit. Success is a habit. Anyone can succeed in an area also can succeed in another. By creating the environment that supports success, their employees and, of course, your company will achieve greater success. A healthy environment helps create a healthy business and clearly a healthy business is a successful business.
